Cécilia Attias a occupé plusieurs postes en cabinets ministériels, et à l’Assemblée nationale. Alors qu’elle était Première dame en 2007, elle a été impliquée avec succès dans des négociations ayant permis la libération d’otages en Libye. Aujourd’hui, Cécilia Attias travaille à New-York comme vice-présidente en charge des affaires publiques chez Richard Attias & Associates. Présidente et fondatrice de la Fondation Cécilia Attias pour les Femmes, et forte de son expertise en communication, elle œuvre pour améliorer concrètement les conditions de vie des femmes partout dans le monde.
